Bizarre incident reportedly leaves NFL player drugged, out of over $100K after robbery

Spain is a former West Virginia player.

According to Pro Football Talk, Tennessee Titans left guard Quinton Spain says he was drugged at an Orlando night club and later robbed over $113,000 in jewelry.

Per the report, Spain was at a nightclub in Orlando when he met a woman that he later took to his hotel room. The woman then made Spain a drink, after which Spain says he does not remember any details. Among the stolen items were two gold chains and a $40,000 Rolex watch.

It is noted in the report that similar crimes happened around the same place at the same time as Spain, but it isn't clear if they are related.

A former West Virginia player, Spain was signed by the Titans after going undrafted in 2015. He played in 13 games in the 2016 season.
