Dont’a Hightower is sick of New England.
The weather, that is.
That’s why he said he skipped the Patriots’ championship parade.
“I had enough cold, snow, rain, sleet during the season,” Hightower said, told ESPN’s Mike Reiss.
Depending on what happens this offseason, Hightower might not have to worry about the New England cold. He’s an unrestricted free agent coming into the prime of his career at age 26. He had a monster season (65 tackles, 2.5 sacks) and is going to be the top inside linebacker available.
Are you listening, warm-weather teams?
