There’s always a risk when broadcasting live television.

Following the Pittsburgh Steelers’ game-winning field goal attempt against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football this week, a hot microphone picked up someone yelling what certainly sounds like, “I hope you cry tonight you p***y,” as ESPN showed the instant replay of the kick.

It’s unknown what the context of the phrase was, but it was during the conclusion of violent game between the two AFC North Division rivals.

Vontaze Burfict and Ryan Shazier both were knocked out of the game, and had to be taken off the field on a stretcher.

Pittsburgh (10-2) defeated Cincinnati (5-7), 23-20, to extend its seven-game winning streak and remain tied with the New England Patriots for the best record in the AFC.

Pittsburgh will play another division-rival, the Baltimore Ravens, Sunday night at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

The Bengals will shift to play the Chicago Bears on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
