Report: Texans shockingly unload Brock Osweiler in a deal that could shake up the Draft

What a trade!

The Houston Texans have been desperate to get Brock Osweiler off their hands after a disappointing season where he threw 15 touchdowns against 16 interceptions and was getting paid $72 million over four years with $37 million of it guaranteed when he signed last season. There were also rumors that the Texans were "anxious" to get rid of Osweiler's mammoth contract and it looks like they made it happen.

And it looks like the Browns could conceivably pull an NBA-like move and actually cut Osweiler in the end:

This would allow Osweiler to sign with another team on a more team-friendly deal that's closer to his actual worth. It would also keep the door open for the Browns to draft a QB in the first round with either the first overall pick or the twelfth pick in the first round.
