Running back suffered gruesome injury during Monday Night Football, immediately rushed back to the locker room

OUCH!

The Indianapolis Colts lost a hard-fought, back-and-forth contest Monday night against the Tennessee Titans. But what might have been more painful was the gruesome elbow injury running back Robert Turbin suffered.

To add insult to injury, Turbin fell just short of the first down, with the Colts trailing the Titans 29-22.

On the next play, a fourth-and-1, the Colts failed to convert. The Titans, determined to burn clock, ran off a 72-yard touchdown to put the game away for good.

There's no word on Turbin's injury or recovery, but at least he had a good sense of humor early in the morning on Tuesday.

The Titans moved to 3-3 and first place in the AFC South, holding a tiebreaker with the Jacksonville Jaguars, who they beat earlier in the season. The Houston Texans sit at 3-3 as well, while the Colts, still without Andrew Luck and currently with Jacoby Brissett at quarterback, sit at 2-4.
