Son of a MLB legend and Hall of Famer finds home after going undrafted

This could be a sneaky good move.

Trey Griffey, son of MLB legend Ken Griffey Jr., didn't hear his name called in the 2017 NFL Draft this week, but the Arizona Wildcat's football career isn't over quite yet.

The Indianapolis Colts signed the wide receiver after he went undrafted this week according to Michael Lev of the Arizona Daily Star.

Griffey not being drafted wasn't a huge shock, as Griffey had a very up-and-down collegiate career that ended with him reeling in just 23 receptions for the Wildcats in 2016.

His sister, Taryn Griffey, another stellar athlete, took to Twitter to confirm her brother was signing with the Colts along with offering some words of encouragement.

The terms of the contract haven't been disclosed as of yet, but it should be interesting to see if Griffey can make the team this summer.
