Jameis Winston scolds Bucs teammates after backup quarterback's injury

It looks like Jameis Winston is turning into a real leader!

Tampa Bay Buccaneers backup quarterback Ryan Griffin went down with a shoulder injury during the team's first preseason game, and starting quarterback Jameis Winston didn't let the backup offensive linemen off easy about it.

During this week's episode of Hard Knocks, backup offensive linemen James Stone and Jarvis Harrison were captured talking and seemingly laughing on the bench following the play in which Griffin was injured. Winston approached both players and sarcastically scolded them for enjoying themselves their teammate was being taken into the locker room to receive medical attention.

"I'm happy y'all are having fun, but Ryan just hurt his shoulder. So keep having fun," Winston said.

Stone and Harrison didn't respond to the Bucs' franchise quarterback and instead changed their facial expressions and sat quietly on the bench after Winston walked away.

The clip showcased the former No. 1 overall pick handling his role as the team leader successfully as he enters his third NFL season. Winston is expected by many to have a career season with a talented Bucs roster in 2017.
