The Dolphins found the fans involved in that ugly melee and took immediate, harsh action

Wild scuffle during Dolphins-49ers game may have had something to do with Colin Kapernick

A wild brawl in the stands during Sundays Dolphins-49ers game has resulted in a number of season-ticket holders having their tickets revoked and being banned from Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.

According to the Miami Herald, the team announced the harsh punishment late Tuesday.

"We conducted an immediate internal review of the situation and have identified the season ticket members who were involved in the incident," the Dolphins said in a statement. "We work hard to remind fans we want this to be a safe environment and tis type of behavior and conduct is not acceptable."

A cell phone video reportedly taken by a fan shows a scuffle in the upper decks between multiple people, some wearing 49ers apparel and others wearing Dolphins jerseys.

A CBS-4 report suggested that the melee erupted after a man in a Dolphins jersey shouted disparaging remarks about San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick appeared to praise former Cuban dictator Fidel Castro in remarks to the media last week following Castro's death.
