NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell during the NFL draft at Radio City Music Hall in New York, NY on Saturday, April 28, 2007.

This NFL team has closed the books on one of the worst drafts in recent memory

Seven players selected and not a one is left.

No NFL team ever expects all of their draft picks to work out. Even the most highly touted, consensus first rounders bomb.

But, the Miami Dolphins have taken draft futility to a whole new level.

ProFootBallTalk noted that every Dolphin player drafted in 2013 is no longer with the team. Of the seven players Miami drafted that year, four have been cut, two have signed elsewhere, and one was traded.

They have no one left. Zilch. Nada.

RELATED: Former No. 3 pick has been released by the team that drafted him.

Here's who the Dolphins drafted, and what happened to them:

Rd. 1: Dion Jordan.  Making matters worse, the 'Fins traded their first- and second-round pick to move up for a defensive end who gave them 26 games and three sacks. Yikes.

Rd. 2: Traded Vonte Davis for a pick in this round and selected cornerback Jamar Taylor, who they traded to Cleveland.

Rd. 3: Guard Dallas Thomas. Released in 2016.

Rd. 4: I would suppose you could say this was their most successful round, and that's being generous. With two picks Miami selected linebacker Jelani Jenkins and tight end Dion Sims. Jenkins signed a free agent deal with Oakland last week; Sims left earlier this month on a free agent deal to join the Chicago Bears

Rd. 5: The Dolphins had two more picks and selected running back Mike Gillislee and kicker Calen Sturgis. The Dolphins cut Gillislee, who has resurrected his career for the Buffalo Bills, and Miami cut Sturgis, who is now with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Dolphins traded away their sixth and seventh round pick, but had a compensatory pick in the seventh. They used it on Don Jones, who was cut in 2014.

Yep. Bad.
