Tom Brady makes his first comments about his wife's claims that he suffered a concussion

Gisele Bundchen dropped a bomb on CBS This Morning back in May.

Tom Brady's wife, Gisele Bundchen, dropped a bomb during an appearance on CBS This Morning back in May when she told the show her her husband suffered a concussion last season and "He does have concussions." That set off a flurry of activity as the NFLPA and NFL said it would investigate her statement, and his agent, in a statement, said no, Brady didn't suffer a concussion last season.

Now, Brady has finally addressed the controversy — and it sheds little light on his wife's statements.

Brady, as per WEEI radio, an ESPN station, said the following:

She's there every day. We go to bed in the same bed every night, so I think she knows when I am sore. She knows when I am tired. She knows when I get hit. We drive home together. But, she also knows how well I take care of myself. She's a very concerned wife and very loving.

He also said she supports him and his desire to continue playing.

She'll support me as long as I continue to want to play. She's like my mom, the two of them sitting next to each other in the suite watching me get hit all day, I'm sure is not fun. They know how well I take care of myself, too.

Of course those comments don't address, from his lips, his wife's concussion statements. Maybe he felt like he didn't need to because others have answered the controversy for him.
