Sportsbook has taken drastic action after Tom Brady's reported hand injury

Wow.

One Sportsbook is apparently proceeding with caution when it comes to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's right hand injury.

Following Brady's absence from Thursday's practice, Bookmaker.eu decided to take the AFC Championship game off of its board entirely, meaning that it will no longer be accepting any wagers on the game until further notice.

According to reports, Brady suffered the injury on a handoff. But San Diego Union-Tribune's Pro Football Doc broke down just how severe the injury may have been.

The website had initially dropped the Patriots' spread from -9 to -7 following news of the quarterback's injury. Bookmaker.eu has also taken down its Super Bowl Futures odds.

Other sportsbooks continue to have New England listed as a -7 favorite, but its likely to change once there's some confirmation on Brady's status for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Prior to Bookmaker.eu taking the game off the board, 62 percent of bettors had taken the Patriots, according to 247Sports.
