Tony Romo’s recovery from yet another injury has reportedly taken its toll on the 36-year-old quarterback’s body and he’s considering everything, even retirement, per Ian Rapoport.

According to the report, Romo could be an option for teams such as the Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, New York Jets, Arizona Cardinals and Buffalo Bills. But Romo could also reportedly step away from the game for good:

“Romo could retire a member of the Cowboys this year, it’s one of the options depending on how the year plays out and how his body feels going forward. If Romo retires, expect him to stay within the Cowboys’ organization. He’s very close to the Joneses, watching Jerry’s grandson play football and he’s traveled to at least one game on Jerry’s private plane.”

Over his career, Romo has suffered a broken finger, broken left collarbone (three times), ruptured disk, transverse process fractures and a fracture in his vertebra.
