What a blow.

Vince Young's comeback to football just hit an unfortunate setback.

Young, who recently signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League, tore his hamstring on June 6.

Young, 34, hasn't played football since his 2011 stint with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Roughriders signed Young to a two-year deal, but Young didn't receive any money up front. Therefore, the team can cut him without any financial penalty.

Young was expected to compete with Marquise Williams and Kevin Glenn for the starting QB job, but now the Roughriders might decide to move on from the former national champion.
