Looks like he'll be back in competition soon.

It looks like Tony Romo is really done with the NFL.

Romo, an avid golfer, has attempted to qualify for the U.S. Open three times in the past, but as NFL.com notes, Romo eventually gave up trying to qualify as it interfered too much with his NFL workout routine.

However, Romo officially announced his retirement last month, and according to former ESPN reporter Ed Werder, Romo is going to attempt to qualify for the U.S. Open once again.

Regardless of if Romo qualifies, he will be spending next season with the NFL on CBS team while Dak Prescott continues his duties as the starting quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys.
