Big night for the Pittsbugh Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury. He led the Penguins to a 3-2 OT victory over the Boston Bruins Monday night, stopping Pittsburgh’s two-game losing streak. In the process, he became the third-fastest (547 games) and third-youngest (29 years, 361 days) goalie to get to 300 wins. Only Jacques Plant and Andy Moog won 300 in fewer games, and only Martin Brodeur and Terry Sawchuk were younger.
It’s a great accomplishment for Fleury — and his teammate, Evgeni Malkin, didn’t seem too impressed.
Even though he looked dead serious, it looks like Malkin was joking. He’d make a great dead-pan comic.
