NFL Hall of Famer says one freshman wideout will be the next “great one”

That's pretty bold.

Former NFL receiver and Hall of Famer Cris Carter usually goes back to his alma mater each offseason to help out the staff and players there. This year was no different as he headed back to Ohio State and was mentoring freshman receiver Trevon Grimes. It would seem that Grimes was pretty impressive as Carter gave him some serious love and compared him to some of the greats.

The 6'3", 202-pound Grimes has the size and frame to be a great receiver, but he has yet to prove anything considering he's only going to be a freshman this season for the Buckeyes. But if he's anything like the receivers Carter mentioned then we can expect some great seasons out of him in a Buckeye uniform.
