Current champion could be stripped of title, according to latest WWE speculation

The cruiserweight title holder is a two-time champion since branching out on his own apart from his tag team partner, Big Cass.

After his suspension, WWE Cruiserweight champion Enzo Amore could be stripped of the title as early as Tuesday night according to speculation by Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer.

The situation was not addressed during Monday Night Raw's 25th anniversary show, and Meltzer believes resolution could could come during 205 Live.

Amore was suspended while police investigate an alleged rape, which was first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet.

This was WWE's response to the allegations, per the report:

"WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault. Until this matter is resolved, Eric Arndt (aka Enzo Amore) has been suspended."

The woman came forward on Twitter to share her story:

"OKAY..it's been long enough & I have been so so scared to share this. I was raped in mid October by the WWE Enzo Amore (also known as Eric Arden) & Tyler Grosso & TOOPOOR let it happen as accomplices. I was in a mental hospital for 45 days after it. They ARE NOT good people."

There's more to that on her Twitter account, with specific allegations of drug use and rape.

According to the report, an investigation is underway and police are waiting for lab results.

The cruiserweight title holder is a two-time champion since branching out on his own apart from his tag team partner, Big Cass. His second reign has lasted more than 70 days, with wins over Kalisto twice since he won the belt at WWE TLC.
