WWE Raw Results: Former champion returns, Intercontinental title No. 1 contender named

No Mercy is this weekend!

WWE Monday Night Raw broadcast live from San Jose, California, at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network.

WWE Monday Night Raw Main Event: (No. 1 Contender's match for the Intercontinental championship) Jason Jordan def. Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Elias, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel

Jeff Hardy tried to get a quick rollup on his brother, but Matt kicked out at 2. Dallas and Axel cleared house, and Jordan made his comeback. Jordan hit his rolling Northern Lights suplex on Axel, but Dallas broke it up. Miz attacked Jordan on the outside and tossed him over the barricade.

Matt Hardy hit the Twist of Fate on Dallas for the two-count before Elias broke it up. Jeff Hardy hit a Twist of Fate before connecting on the Swanton Bomb on Axel. Miz broke up the pinfall and Axel took advantage. Jordan hit the backdrop neckbreaker on Axel for the three-count.

After the match, Jordan his two belly-to-belly suplexes on Miz before the MizTourage attacked the top contender. Miz hit a Skull Crushing Finale on Jordan to close the show.

Bray Wyatt def. Dustin Rhodes by pinfall

Goldust appeared backstage without his face paint to request a rematch with Bray Wyatt. Goldust said he wanted the rematch as Dustin Rhodes.

Rhodes beat Wyatt around the ring, then seemed in control in the ring. Rhodes hit the ropes and was caught into the Sister Abigail.

Finn Balor showed up on the Titantron to cut a promo on The Demon.

Roman Reigns called out John Cena for not being at Monday Night Raw

Reigns played a video package where Cena called out The Rock for not being at Raw each week ahead of WrestleMania. Reigns said the same thing could be said about Cena and called him a "bitch" yet again.

The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) def. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

Sheamus made the blind tag as Ambrose hit the ropes. Ambrose connected on the Dirty Deeds on Anderson and Sheamus threw him out of the ring to steal the win.

Nia Jax def. Alexa Bliss (Women's Champion) in a non-title match by pinfall

Bliss used her speed to avoid Jax early on. She tried to escape up the ramp, but Sasha Banks' music hit and Jax attacked on the outside. After the commercial break, Jax stayed in control and hit the Samoan Drop on Bliss for the win.

After the match, Banks tried to attack Jax, but would be tossed to the side. Bayley's music hit as Jax started to exit the ring. Bliss and Banks made it to their feet as Bayley hit the ring and the three of them attacked Jax. As they celebrated in the ring, Banks and Bayley laid out Bliss before Bayley celebrated in the ring.

It was later announced Bayley would join the Women's Championship match at No Mercy, turning a Fatal 4-Way into a Fatal 5-Way.

WWE Monday Night Raw Best of the Rest:

  • Kurt Angle opened the show promoting No Mercy's Braun Strowman-Brock Lesnar title match and Roman Reigns-John Cena showdown. The Miz interrupted him and said he's overlooked yet again. Angle made a No. 1 contender's match for the main event between Jason Jordan, the Hardy Boyz, Elias, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel to face Miz at No Mercy.
  • Promo for Asuka aired.
  • Apollo Crews def. Curt Hawkins by pinfall.
  • Interview with Braun Strowman-Brock Lesnar.
  • Tribute to Bobby Heenan played.
  • Braun Strowman interrupted Enzo Amore for no apparent reason. Neville came down and hit the Red Arrow on a defenseless Enzo.
  • Neville def. Gran Metalik by submission.
