Former champion makes decision on retirement following speculation of in-ring return

Will we see her again?

WWE's Mae Young Classic features several familiar names from rival promotions and reportedly would have also featured retired former Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Taylor Wilde.

On Tuesday, Wilde revealed via Twitter that she was considering coming out of retirement for the WWE's women's tournament, but she scrapped her plans after sustaining an injury while training.

Wilde competed in Impact Wrestling — then known as Total Nonstop Action Wrestling — from 2008-10 where she was a former TNA Women's Knockout Champion and a former two-time TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion with Sarita and Hamada before announcing her retirement in January 2011.

Wilde previously signed to a WWE developmental contract, competing in Deep South Wrestling from 2006-07 and Florida Championship Wrestling in 2007 before signing with Impact Wrestling.
