Triple H opens up about potentially signing Ronda Rousey to WWE

This would be a bold move for both sides.

Ronda Rousey hasn't officially retired from the UFC, but her peak days as a fighter have certainly come and gone.

However, there has been some interest from the WWE in signing Rousey to a deal, and WWE COO Triple H discussed that possibility during his recent appearance on First Take. He started discussing the possibility of Rousey signing with WWE at about the 4:19 mark.

Here's a quote from Triple H on why there's some interest on their end:

"Ronda has been a huge fan of WWE her whole life, she's been very adamant about that," Triple H said. "She's done stuff with us before. ... She's a huge fan. I think it's something that she's definitely interested and I'll throw it out right now: if she's interested I'll give her the opportunity.

"We're all about personalities and that's what she brings to the table. I think she's shown it in UFC, she's shown it in Hollywood, she's shown it everywhere. Her personality will drive fan interest."

Rousey to the WWE would make sense for both sides, and it's easy to see her becoming a huge personality given her celebrity status from UFC fighting.

It sounds like the ball is in Rousey's court if she wants to make the move to WWE, which might be the best option for her considering her MMA days appear to be over.
