2017's top recruit has his final three schools in mind, and they are heavy hitters

No surprises on this list.

The top recruit in the country for the class of 2017 in DeAndre Ayton was focused on seven schools before heading off to the Nike Peach Jam tournament in Atlanta this week, but it seems he's narrowed that down even further. The 7'0", 220-pound center out of Hillcrest Academy in Phoenix, Arizona certainly has his choices for where he wants to go to school with offers from the likes of Maryland, Kansas, San Diego State, Arizona and Kentucky.

Kansas was already one of his schools he wanted to focus on and it looks like two more have joined the Jayhawks in the hunt for Ayton.

You put some on weight on him and he's likely to be the first pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. I'm sure those three schools are just drooling at the thought of potentially landing this rare talent.
