A huge part of UNC's revamped team is out indefinitely due to injury

This one hurts.

North Carolina knew it wouldn't have as good a team this season as it did last year when the Tar Heels made it to the National Championship Game. However, they're expected to still be competitive and give Duke a run for its money in the ACC. A big piece of that was going to be wing player Theo Pinson.

Pinson will miss an indefinite period of time with a foot injury as he broke the fifth metatarsal in his right foot during practice this week. His injury last season was also in his foot, but it was a broken bone in his left foot. As of now, coach Roy Williams says that Pinson is out indefinitely with no timetable for a return.

Pinson was expected to start alongside Joel Berry in the backcourt, but now the Tar Heels will have to look to Seventh Woods, Kenny Williams and Brandon Robinson as potential replacements until Pinson can come back from his injury.
