A prostitution arrest has a former Oklahoma player and cheerleader in hot water

He was once a highly recruited, four-star athlete

A former Oklahoma Sooner defensive back who was once recruited by some of the biggest schools in the country has been arrested in a prostitution bust.

Lawrence "lJ" Moore was arrested on a series of charges for allegedly prostituting a former OU cheerleader.

The former cheerleader, Micah Madison Parker, was also arrested.

KOKH-TV reported that, based on an affidavit, an undercover vice officer answered an ad on Backpage.com and agreed to meet a woman for sex at a local motel. The woman, according to the affidavit, asked for $200 in exchange for sex. When vice detectives entered the room, the female suspect threw cell phones in a toilet, according to the affidavit.

Moore was arrested when he showed up at the hotel to pick up Parker's car, according to the affidavit.

KOKH said Parker was a cheerleader when she was a freshman at OU.

Moore played just two games for the Sooners. The 6-foot-1, 168 pound defensive back was a coveted prospect, according to his page on the OU football team site. He was a four-star recruit who has offers from Arizona State, Georgia, Notre Dame, Texas Tech and UCLA.

Parker was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on destruction of evidence, offering to engage in an act of prostitution, and two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Moore was booked on aiding and abetting prostitution, pandering, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of marijuana.
