Adrian Peterson still looking for a new home with one team reportedly having “some interest”

Only one team has expressed "some interest" in Adrian Peterson.

Adrian Peterson is still searching for his future home, and he has expressed interest in several teams. However, that interest has not been reciprocated, and his free agency might linger into the future.

The Minnesota Vikings signed Latavius Murray to replace Peterson, and the Oakland Raiders seemingly have more interest in retired RB Marshawn Lynch than they do in Peterson.

Peterson had some interest in the New York Giants, but they recently signed Shaun Draughn. According to ESPN's Ben Goessling, the Green Bay Packers have "some interest" in Peterson, but they want to wait until after the upcoming draft to evaluate team needs.

"Although Peterson would undoubtedly like to know where he'll spend the 2017 season, there's an argument to be made for him waiting things out," Goessling wrote. "A deep running back class could mean more teams head into OTAs with their running back situation settled, but an untimely injury could create an opening for a veteran like Peterson. As the three-time rushing champion switches teams for the first time in his career, it behooves him to find the right fit as much as it does to find the best price."

The Packers would make sense for both the team and Peterson, and the Raiders could still be an option if Lynch decides to remain retired. Either way, the market isn't exactly great at the moment for Peterson.
