After 15 years, one wrestler finally made his debut on WWE's SmackDown Live

What an awesome moment!

Talk about a sweet moment.

WWE's Tye Dillinger had been making the rounds on the independent wrestling scene over the past 15 years, most recently with WWE's developmental NXT brand. Dillinger did make a surprise appearance at this year's Royal Rumble, but on Tuesday, he finally made his legitimate debut on WWE television with an appearance on SmackDown Live.

Dillinger won his debut SmackDown match by defeating Curt Hawkins in a short match.

Dillinger was clearly emotional after his debut.

Sorry, I'm still at a loss for words here. It's just... 15 years. And, you know, 15 years for a few minutes out there, in front of that kind of a crowd, in front of my home crowd, technically... I can't think of any better moment. I thought that I had the greatest moment of my life at the Royal Rumble this year, and that turns out to be the second.

It was all worth it. I don't care if you add up all the hours, months, years, 15, whatever it may be, but those few minutes for these 15 years are absolutely worth it.

Dillinger had appeared on WWE television before, most famously in a moment where he took a superkick from Shawn Michaels backstage. However, Dillinger now has a more permanent role on WWE television, and it's a testament to his dedication.
