After brain tumor scare, NBA player receives good news on wife's surgery

We can breathe a sigh of relief.

New Orleans Pelicans point guard Jrue Holiday and his wife, Lauren, have had a scary few months.

Lauren, a former soccer player on the U.S. Women's National Team, found out she had a brain rumor as the couple awaited their first child. Jrue has been away from the Pelicans while his wife has battled the brain tumor, but the couple received good news this week.

The couple had their first child before Lauren underwent surgery to remove the tumor. Hopefully her health continues to improve.
