After getting cut by NBA team, former UNC star puts down recruiting troll

That's how you destroy a troll.

Marcus Paige was a Freshman All-American and First-Team Academic All-American during his time at North Carolina. He stayed all four years and ended up getting drafted in the second round of the NBA Draft in June. He was originally drafted by the Brooklyn Nets and then had his rights traded to the Utah Jazz.

Paige had played on the Summer League team for the Jazz and a little in the preseason, but was waived by them yesterday. Naturally, that brought out the haters and somehow one person thought that it would negatively affect recruiting. However, what he didn't count on was that Paige would light him up after he sent out a tweet.

Paige averaged 13.1 points, 1.4 steals, 4.3 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game throughout his career at UNC. He came within one buzzer-beater of a National Championship and becoming one of the greatest Tar Heels of all-time.
