Alabama gets devastating injury news on Bo Scarbrough after loss in title game

This is awful to hear.

One of Alabama's best offensive players will be sidelined for a while after an injury suffered in Monday's night national title game against Clemson.

According to ESPN, Crimson Tide running back Bo Scarbrough suffered a broken leg in the third quarter of the national title game.

Scarbrough had been battling injuries all season, but he had been on a roll at the end of the season when healthy. Scarbrough had rushed for two touchdowns in each of Alabama's last three games, including a 180-yard performance against Washington in the College Football Playoff semifinal.

Scarbrough may miss spring practices with the injury, but a broken leg shouldn't impact his status for next season.
