As No. 7 Alabama gets ready to face No. 4 LSU in what will once again amount to the biggest game of the year for the two programs, the Tide will be looking to have every possible player available. The Tide watched safeties Eddie Jackson and Ronnie Harrison go down against Tennessee two weeks ago as well as tackle Dominick Jackson. Alabama is hoping to get all three back for LSU as well as to have a healthier Ryan Kelly and Cam Robinson.

Kelly was sidelined against Texas A&M three weeks ago for much of the game due to a concussion, which he explained Monday.

“I wasn’t wearing my mouthpiece and went up to hit a linebacker and came in a little too high,” Kelly said. “I feel good now. Coach Jeff Allen has done a great job of kind of limiting me that week.”

Kelly should be 100 percentage for LSU. Safety Eddie Jackson should also be ready for LSU and he discussed his knee injury Monday as well.

“I guess the guy got pushed back into my knee and kind of got hyperextended a little bit,” Jackson said. “But nothing serious.”

Saban said that Jackson should be good to go against LSU and expressed that Ronnie Harrison and Dominick Jackson are day-to-day.

“We’ll see how they do at practice today and will be evaluated to see how they do,” Saban said. “We’ll have to evaluate that more on a day-to-day basis.”
