The Alabama running back factory is about to lose one RB to transfer

Alabama will surely reload with more five-star running backs.

Alabama has a history of churning out great college running backs. Trent Richardson, Derrick Henry, Mark Ingram, T.J. Yeldon, Eddie Lacy and Kenyan Drake all come to mind that fit that description. And most of those guys were back ups to one another at some point. However, none were walk-ons like Derrick Gore has been for the last two years.

With Bo Scarbrough coming back and several other running backs in the stable, Gore has decided that he is going to try and actually play somewhere else where the depth chart doesn't run quite as deep:

Gore had one touchdown this season to go with 18 carries for 93 yards. With Scarbrough coming back along with Damien Harris who is already a 1,000-yard rushing and the Crimson Tide bringing in a five-star running back in Najee Harris, the writing was most definitely on the wall.
