Florida was one of the biggest movers on National Signing Day and ended up with the No. 13 class according to ESPN’s rankings. However, it looks like the the top-15 recruiting class may end up costing the Gators one of its upperclassmen receivers.
Worton was rarely used this year as he had only four receptions for 45 yards and appeared in five games. He’s a little on the smaller side at 6’0″ and 196 pounds, but did give the team a good veteran presence. The Homestead, Fla. native has not said if he will transfer or if he is giving up football altogether, but the loss may not hurt all that bad with other guys on the roster.
