Just five weeks into the NFL season, and the league’s second offensive coordinator has been canned.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Baltimore Ravens are making a drastic adjustment following two consecutive losses:
With standout wideouts Steve Smith and Mike Wallace, the Ravens reportedly are frustrated with the play-calling and run-game management.
Baltimore’s running offense isn’t quite on par with the rest of the NFL, holding Terrence West and Kenneth Dixon as their two main backs. That’s not exactly a recipe for success, but the Ravens evidently think they can do better.
Baltimore (3-2) has lost both of its last two home games after a 3-0 start. Baltimore travels to play the New York Giants next Sunday.
