That was the scene after Colorado upset No. 9 Arizona at home 75-72. The students didn't even wait five seconds for the game to be over before storming the court and taking over every square inch of it. This was the tenth time in 11 road losses that Arizona has been court stormed on.
A pretty livid Sean Miller got upset with the Pac 12 and is demanding that the conference take action. Several of Miller's players were bumped by fans and there could have very easily been altercations between fans and players.
Miller makes some valid points and the Pac 12 is one of those conference that doesn't have any rules enforced for court storming or field storming like the SEC does. It's a pretty hefty fine and so it discourages that kind of behavior. It also encourages the schools to protect the student-athletes better with more security around the playing area.
Court storming is fine and all, but you really do need to let the opposing team get out of there so tempers don't flare and people don't cause any more problems aside from the court storm.
