Auburn player throws coaching staff under the bus after being drafted

Why would you say this?

You may remember Ricardo Louis for his miracle catch a few years ago against Georgia, where he scored the game-winning touchdown after a tipped deep ball with 36 seconds left.

Louis had a fine career at Auburn, leading to him being drafted in the fourth round by the Cleveland Browns on Saturday. In an interview after being taken, he made some comments about his time at Auburn that many perceived as parting shots from the program.

The main text there:

"I would say that the Browns saw things from me that other teams didn't see. They understand that I was in a scheme at Auburn that din't require me to run very many routes, very diverse or complex routes and the fact that I was not developed as a receiver at the time.

Louis later clarified his comments, claiming that the statement was simply miscommunication.

This is a mistake that Louis will learn from, and we will probably all forget about it a few weeks. Still, the Auburn coaches cannot be too excited about this, and you better believe that all the rival coaches will be using this quote in future recruiting efforts.
