Tennessee rivalry week has arrived for Alabama. Bama's matchup with the resurgent Tennessee Volunteers has been one of the most highly anticipated games of the season and little has changed, especially after Nick Saban told reporters that his players look forward to facing Tennessee more than any other team.
Tennessee was picked by many to beat Alabama in this matchup before the season, but the Volunteers have been hurting of late and finally dug a hole too deep to dig out of last week against Texas A&M losing to the Aggies in overtime.
As a result Alabama opened as an 8 point road favorite over the Vols and after early betting the line has already moved to Bama being a ten point favorite.
Tide fans should be wary to put too much stock in lines however because in a rivalry game anything is possible. Last season it took a late game score for Bama to top Tennessee and this year Bama should be prepared to have to play done to the wire to take down rival Tennessee.
The two teams face off at 3:30 pm Saturday on CBS.
