Beat writer says LSU's AD needs Ed Orgeron to do more than just beat Alabama to earn job

How much more does he have to do?

Ed Orgeron has exceeded expectations for the LSU Tigers, leading the squad a to 3-0 record while averaging over 40 points per game.

But even if Orgeron is able to beat the top team in the country, Alabama, SEC Country writer Alex Hickey says says the Tigers athletic director Joe Alleva needs Orgeron to win on the road before handing over the gig.

After LSU's matchup with Florida was postponed until November 19, the Tigers will play four consecutive home games before shipping over to play Arkansas on November 12.

It shouldn't be an outrageous request, especially if Orgeron is able to survive the Tide.

Regardless of what happens next Saturday, LSU looks well-prepared to succeed under Orgeron
