Ben Roethlisberger is about to do something not even Adrian Peterson can

Here's some good news for Steelers fans and it comes at the right time.

Ben Roethlisberger's return from a knee injury is right on schedule and he's expected to be under center when the Steelers square off with the Ravens this Sunday.

Big Ben was initially expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks after suffering a meniscus injury in Pittsburgh's Week 7 loss to New England. However, after Roethlisberger had surgery earlier this month, team doctors said recently he's on schedule for just a two-to-three week recovery period.

Meanwhile, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson suffered the exact same injury over a month ago against the Packers and he's reportedly expected to be out until at least mid-November.

The news is particularly timely for Pittsburgh, as a matchup with the Cowboys follows Sunday's AFC North showdown against Baltimore.
