Belichick's tenure has been insane compared to other teams.

Sixteen years ago on Wednesday, Bill Belichick was hired to be the New England Patriots next head coach.

With that in mind, ESPN's Field Yates took a look at all the head coaching hires since then, and it's absolutely ridiculous:

16 years ago today, the Patriots hired Bill Belichick. The other 31 NFL teams have had 160 head coaches combined since then.

For Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady, they'll have to wait at least one more year for Super Bowl No. 5.
