Former Alabama staffer finds new coaching gig despite controversial exit

That was quick.

Former Alabama defensive lineman coach Bo Davis has already rebounded after resigning from the Crimson Tide, joining the Group 5 UTSA Roadrunners in the same position.

Davis left the Crimson Tide in May after being investigated by the NCAA for potential impermissible contact with recruits, per Rivals.

"Bo Davis has submitted his letter of resignation," Saban said in the statement. "We appreciate all the contributions he made to the program and wish him and his family the very best in the future."

He was accused of visiting out-of-state recruiting during a recruiting dead period, and was reportedly caught being dishonest about the allegations after the NCAA contacted Alabama's compliance office.
