Boston sports guy got into it with Jemele Hill after he trashed SportsCenter following layoffs

Jemele Hill responds to Boston sports personality in a Twitter feud.

ESPN just suffered perhaps the worst week in company history after about 100 high profile personalities were fired due to the company losing millions of dollars in recent months.

Boston sports radio host Kirk Minihane voiced his opinion about the layoffs, and he said strongly implied SportsCenter anchor Jemele Hill, who co-hosts the new The Six with Michael Smith, should've been one of employees fired.

Minihane started off by tweeting this insult about Hill.

Hill naturally took exception to the comment.

Minihane responded with a another shot at Hill and The Six.

Hill reiterated that she'd like to discuss the comments face-to-face.

Minihane's comments were unnecessary, though Hill didn't have a great comeback for the ratings insult. It was a brutal week for ESPN and the employees who were fired, but it was also likely a tough week for those who remain with the company.
