Botched 2-point conversion foils Michigan State upset attempt of No. 2 Ohio State

Oh Sparty... no.

Michigan State had their shot to upset No. 2 Ohio State, and they blew it on this play.

The Spartans had scored a touchdown with four minutes left in the fourth quarter to cut Ohio State's lead to 17-16. A PAT would have tied the game, but Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio went with the bold call and tried a two-point conversion to take the lead.

Then this happen.

Just... why? Why would you throw that?

I actually think it was the right idea for Michigan State to go for two there, as I don't think it would have been best for them to try going to overtime with the Buckeyes. However, this was just a horrific throw on a play that could have won them the game.
