CBS analyst says not to rule out this LSU homecoming for one former coach

Could it possibly happen?

CBS analyst and former UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel has already started off the season with a pretty ludicrous prediction. He believes that disgraced former Baylor coach Art Briles will have the Auburn job by the end of the season despite his sexual assault scandal still familiar in the minds of fans.

He's on to his next crazy prediction now and he thinks a former LSU coach might go back to Baton Rouge to take the job. On the SiriusXM College Sports radio show, he made the bold prediction that current Alabama coach Nick Saban would head back west for the opening.

Here's the full quote if you're looking for it through that interview:

"Years ago, there was a guy coaching at Michigan State that took a look at this job. He did it through his wife. His wife went down there and looked and took a look around to see how this thing plays itself out before he decided to jump in with both feet. He ended up jumping in and winning a national championship. His name was Nick Saban.

"And just as I suggested that there's a time your run might end and might be good to look somewhere else ... just saying."

That's a bold prediction and one that's likely not to come true.
