Championship starting guard arrested for DUI

These arrests are getting out of hand.

Alphonse Taylor was a starting guard on the offensive line for the Crimson Tide during their National Championship game win over the Clemson Tigers in January. He was threatened with second team reps by coach Nick Saban if he didn't get in better shape and not only did he fail to do that, but he has also been arrested.

Taylor was charged with driving under the influence by the Tuscaloosa Police Department on Sunday. Taylor's bond is set at $1,000 according to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office.

Taylor's weight is listed at 345 pounds, which is the same weight from this spring and why he's been demoted to the second team. Brandon Kennedy ended up taking the first team reps during the spring.
