Former WWE wrestler made his triumphant return on Thursday

He is finally back with WWE!

Chris Hero — aka Kassius Ohno — has had an interesting career in the past few years.

Hero had previously been signed to WWE under the Ohno name, but he was released from the company back in 2013 after nearly two years in developmental. Since then, Hero has become one of the biggest names among pro-wrestling's independent promotions, such as PWG, NOAH, and Evolve.

Hero's performance in those promotions was enough to get another offer from WWE, and on Thursday, he returned to WWE by confronting NXT champion Shinsuke Nakamura during a taping of WWE's NXT program.

WWE's NXT developmental program has been relying heavily on Nakamura and former TNA champion Samoa Joe recently, and Hero has the star power to shake things up a bit for the WWE Network program. At the very least, Hero's arrival could signal the main roster call up for either Nakamura or Joe, as WWE needs to look for new names on their RAW and SmackDown Live television brands.
