Clemson loses star linebacker for the game against Troy

This could be real bad news for Clemson down the road.

Clemson has struggled against Troy today holding a 20-10 lead late in the game. Deshaun Watson has not looked particularly good, but the defense has been doing its job and getting off the field to give the offense some chances to put this game away.

A big part of that defensive effort was senior linebacker Ben Boulware. That was, until he got chopped pretty badly on a play. He was down on the field for a few minutes before being helped off the field. He came back to the sideline after getting looked at and it looks like he wouldn't come back in the game.

It's unclear how severe the injury might be, but it could very well hurt the Tigers now if they continue to struggle against Troy.
