Clemson's best offensive lineman could be heading to another Power 5 school

This would be a huge coup for one of those schools.

Clemson offensive tackle Jake Fruhmorgen is going to transfer out of the program according to Tiger Net. Fruhmorgen appeared in 11 games in his freshman season last year and saw 245 snaps that included seven knockdowns. The 6'5", 290-pound OT met with the Clemson coaches Thursday and told them of his decision.

He also started the first eight games of this season before a shoulder injury kept him out after the Florida State game. He also left the team a few weeks later due to what Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney described as "personal issues."

There's no word on where he will go next, but Tiger Net believes that Michigan or Florida are options for the young man. Florida makes sense as it is close to his hometown Tampa and the Gators are going to need serious help on the offensive line.
