Coach Cal now has more of these than all other top 25 coaches combined

That's a whole lot!

Kentucky coach John Calipari is one of the most active coaches on social media and even posts blog entries from time to time on his Twitter account. It's one of his tools that has helped him recruit so many one-and-dones and future NBA draft picks. And people clearly are paying attention as he has more Twitter followers than all other top 25 college basketball coaches combined.

Calipari now has over 1.5 million followers on Twitter and no one else even comes close to that. The next highest coach is Kansas' Bill Self with 180,000 followers and Indiana's Tom Crean with 144,000. Nebraska's Tim Miles has 139,000 followers and then there's no one else with 100,000 or more as No. 5 is West Virginia's Bob Huggins with 71,800 followers.

This is why Coach Cal is the most powerful coach in the game and on the recruiting trail. Big Blue Nation is everywhere at all times and don't forget it.

*It's worth noting that Mike Kryzewski, Tom Izzo, Roy Williams, Gregg Marshall, and Tony Bennett are not on Twitter, or at least that I can see.*
