Dalvin Cook had a wide-open touchdown run until a case of the drops ruined his night

Florida State fans are hoping for better luck in the second half.

Just about nothing went right for FSU in the first half against Ole Miss.

The most recent stroke of bad luck came on a misdirection throw that when quarterback Deondre Francois found Dalvin Cook wide open in the open field. Cook turned, took the ball upfield and simply dropped the ball, before it rolled out of bounds and gave Florida State possession around the two-yard line.

FSU couldn't take advantage and settled for the field goal. They eventually scored to close the half, trailing, 28-13.
