One school managed to flip two separate recruits on Friday

TE Cade Brewer and RB Daniel Young both announced new commitments on Friday.

Looks like Tom Herman is getting to work at Texas.

On Friday, Texas managed to land the commitments from two players that were previously committed to other schools. The first being a former SMU commit — tight end Cade Brewer. The other commit came not long after from a kid that Herman was already familiar with: running back Daniel Young, a former Houston pledge.

Both recruits are three-stars according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Herman still has a lot to do with this 2017 recruiting class before National Signing Day in February. Texas only has 11 commitments after these two flips on Friday, which is far behind most other powerhouses that have 15, 20, or even 25 commitments at this point.

Charlie Strong left Texas with a lot of talent, but Herman still has a lot to do for this particular recruiting class.
