Tiger Woods DUI mugshot

Details reportedly emerge in the arrest of golfing great Tiger Woods

He's had better days.

Monday morning at 3 a.m., golfing great Tiger Woods was reportedly arrested on a suspicion of DUI charge, per WPTV.

According to the Palm Beach Post, Woods was driving away from his home and his restaurant when the arrest took place. He was reportedly about 10 minutes away from his eatery, The Woods.

According to TMZ, officers smelled alcohol on his breath and he refused to blow into a breathalyzer, which means an automatic arrest and license suspension in the state of Florida. TMZ's report has been unconfirmed, and other publications have noted Woods arrest was unlawful blood alcohol DUI, which could mean drugs or alcohol.

He was booked at around 7 a.m and released from custody at around 11 a.m. Monday morning, per USA Today.

The 41-year-old Woods had his fourth back surgery back in April and is not expected to compete in any PGA Tour events this year. He's won 14 majors and 79 PGA Tour titles over his career.
